Elizabeth Astor

I work as a spiritual teacher, licensed Acupuncturist, practitioner of herbal medicine and homeopathy, medical intuitive, Akashic Records consultant, and a body-mind-spirit specialist. I am so grateful to have over 20 years of experience in meditation practices and traditions from all over the world, and have spent over a year of my life in meditation retreat.  I am trained as a meditation instructor within two different Dharma traditions, and have taught different forms of meditation, self-compassion and awareness for over a decade.

In 2023 I was confirmed as a lineage holder in the lineage of Adyashanti by my teacher Sharon Landrith, and I teach meditation and the path of awakening with their support. I bring my whole heart to walking the path of a modern day mystic, while mothering two young daughters and working in the world.

My teaching arises from the knowing that inside each one of us there is a clear light and loving awareness.

Like a diamond, it is indestructible, ever present, and shining from our wholeness and love. There is nothing more precious in this life than being in touch with that truth, and to allow the luminosity and love of the Divine and our true nature to permeate every aspect of our lives.

I am most passionate about supporting people that are on a path of awakening and bringing their full hearts and benefit into this world. My work is focused on soul evolution and walking our optimal path in this life, harmonizing our body and minds into alignment with our highest potential.

In our one-on-one sessions, my wish is to utilize our time together to focus on what’s emerging in your life for your deepest wellbeing and growth. My aim is to empower patients and students to learn ‘how to fish’ rather than simply ‘giving a fish’. This requires a mutual dedication to the truth that all necessary resources for your journey exist within you, based on the knowing that you are a child of the Divine making a journey through this messy and beautiful human experience. In our work together, I invite the willingness to turn toward yourself and your experience as fully as you can so that you can heal at the deepest level possible.

While addressing physical symptoms, recurring patterns, and daily challenges with my full toolbox of physical and energetic medicines, I specifically focus on the emotional and spiritual aspects of any dis-ease in your life that are present.  My focus is drawn towards individuals committed to their evolution and presence, those seeking to live with an open heart and a clear mind, who are devoted to fostering a positive impact in the world.

Licenses and Formal Training

  • Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, from a 4 year program at Southwest Acupuncture College. Graduated as valedictorian, 2011.
  • License in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the NCCAOM since 2011.
  • Professional certification in Classical Homeopathy from a 2 year program at  Homeopathy School International, 2009.
  • Level 4 Akashic Records Consultant training with the Akashic Records Consultants International, 2019 to present.
  • Years of retreats and training in meditation and personal development, with numerous respected teachers such as H.H. the Dalai Lama, Adyashanti, Sharon Landrith, Mingyur Rinpoche, Byron Katie, and many others.
  • Extensive training and meditation retreats with the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana tradition in India and Nepal, 2005-2007.
  • Medical intuition training at the accredited Energy Medicine University, 2014.
  • Continued training in functional medicine, herbology, acupuncture, manual therapy and Oriental medicine techniques.
  • A member of the Association for Spiritual Integrity.
  • Clinical internship in naturopathy and hydrotherapy at the Namaste Naturopathic Health Center, 2000-2001.
  • Clinical internships in Kototama medicine, pain management, obstetrics and gynecology, fertility, autoimmune disease, and anxiety treatment.

Of all of the people in my life, I feel most seen and supported by Elizabeth. She listens to, intuits, and understands her clients at a very deep spiritual, physical, as well as psychological level.  Elizabeth has supported me in listening to and following my own intuition and inner knowing, and has helped me become more whole, present and well. Her work is powerful, profoundly helpful, and healing. She has had extensive training in many different healing modalities, as well as meditation and spiritual study, and she brings all of this experience to her patients and teachings in very accessible ways.  She is a very grounded, down to earth and relatable human who practices and implements all of the techniques she uses to support her clients in her roles as a powerful healer, spiritual teacher and mother.  Elizabeth has been my primary support for recovering from multiple chronic physical issues, as well as through divorce and family of origin issues, and has helped me learn how to better ground and nourish myself in all my roles at home and at work. She nourishes my psychological and spiritual growth and continues to support my life in many profound and unexpected ways. I consider Elizabeth to be one of my greatest teachers.
