The Living Current: Discovering Presence & the Open Heart

December 3 - December 7
The Living Current retreat poster

You were never meant to carry this life alone. Beneath the surface of everything, there is a current — a living intelligence that can move through you and illuminate your life.

What would it feel like to be genuinely fed from the inside? Not sustained by effort or willpower, but nourished by your body’s quiet wisdom, the warmth of an open heart, and the steady refuge of presence.

This retreat explores what it means to let the Divine move through your full humanity — grounded in the body, open in the heart, moved by something greater than yourself.

Come rest in what cannot be shaken. Come let it move through you.

About Elizabeth Astor

Invited to teach by Sharon Landrith and confirmed in Adyashanti’s lineage, she offers teachings on meditation, intuition, and awakening through individual sessions, groups, retreats, and online programs.

Guest Teacher: Rachael Skolnik Bonaiuto

Rachael Skolnik Bonaiuto, MA, LPC, BC-DMT (she/her) is a board-certified Dance/Movement Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Somatic Educator, and Authentic Movement facilitator based in Boulder, Colorado. She is the founder of Embodied Wellness, where she offers work rooted in embodiment, mystical practice, and deep listening to the wisdom of the body and soul. In her individual sessions, she weaves together body-oriented psychotherapy and soul-centered inquiry, accompanying others in the unfolding of emotional healing, embodied wisdom, and spiritual life.

Rachael has been practicing Authentic Movement since 2004 and teaching at Naropa University for more than a decade. She also offers workshops, retreats, and ongoing practice groups. Her work is grounded in a reverence for embodiment, the intelligence of the great mystery, and the inherent movement toward wholeness. She is especially interested in the ways Authentic Movement can cultivate intimacy with our own truth, deepen our capacity for presence and witnessing, and open us to a more alive relationship with ourselves, one another, and the sacredness of life.

Authentic Movement

Authentic Movement is a mystical movement practice that invites us to turn inward and listen deeply to the wisdom of the body and soul. With eyes closed, we allow movement to emerge from within, following the impulses, sensations, images, feelings, and gestures that arise, without needing to direct, interpret, or make anything happen. Held in a field of compassionate witnessing, the practice offers an opportunity to meet ourselves with curiosity and presence, to listen for what is moving beneath the surface of our everyday awareness, and to cultivate a deeper intimacy with our own truth. Authentic Movement can become a pathway into the great mystery of being alive, opening space for healing, discovery, and the inherent movement toward wholeness.
